# MakeInspires

> MakeInspires is a hands-on STEAM education company and network of youth makerspaces serving students, families, schools and educators in New York City, Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

MakeInspires provides immersive Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) education for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, with a particular focus on elementary and middle school learners.

Students learn through hands-on projects involving coding, robotics, engineering, electronics, 3D design and printing, digital fabrication, filmmaking, animation, science, mathematics, woodworking and other emerging technologies.

MakeInspires was established in 2011 and operates physical makerspaces as well as programs delivered in schools and community organizations.
